Mr. George J. Bohigian, 74, of Medway MA died Monday (January 30, 2023) at Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Sharon M. (Kennedy) Bohigian.
George was born in Worcester MA, the son of the late George K. Bohigian and the late Janet (Menard) Bohigian. He attended Worcester public schools, graduating from Burncoat High School, Class of 1967. He also attended Worcester Industrial Technical Institute.
George was first employed as a young man at the Chase Paper Company located in Westborough MA. He later owned & operated for over 25 years Bohigian Printing Company, located in Medway MA.
George had served as a member of the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
George was an avid outdoors man who loved boating, biking, water skiing & downhill snow skiing, kayaking, snowmobiling & riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He and his wife Sharon loved spending time at their vacation home in New Hampshire for 38 years and also loved to travel.
George is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Sharon; his sister: Carol Bohigian French and her husband William French of Grafton MA; his nephew: Timothy Martin of Florida; his niece: Kristi Martin of Leominster MA; his sisters-in-law: Sheila J. Kennedy of Milford MA & Kathleen Martin of Milford MA; his brother-in-law: Michael D. Kennedy and his wife Mary of Millbury MA.
His funeral will be held Saturday (February 4th) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 NOON in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA. A visiting hour will be held Saturday (February 4th) from 10:30am to 11:30am, prior to his Funeral Mass.
