Harold Mario Castiglione

Mr. Harold M. Castiglione, 95, of Hopedale MA died Saturday (February 11, 2023) at his residence surrounded by his loving family members. He was the beloved husband of Charlotte A. (Humes) Castiglione.

Harold was born in Milford MA, the son of the late Edward Castiglione and the late Rose (Fiore) Castiglione. He attended Milford public schools and was a graduate of Milford High School.

Harold was a Korean Conflict veteran of the US Air Force having served from 1948 to 1952, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Harold was a longtime employee of the US Postal Service. He was also a longtime resident of Hopedale MA and a longtime member of the Hopedale Country Club. He cherished his longtime friendships from his childhood days of growing up in the “Plains Section” of Milford.

Harold was an avid golfer. He loved the outdoors & nature and took pride in his yard work and gardening. He also loved working with his hands, especially when involved with woodworking. But his favorite past time was spending time with his beloved family members.

Along with his beloved wife Charlotte, he is survived by his 2 children: Deborah Fullum of Hopedale MA & Robert Castiglione and his companion Carli Rosenberg of Milford MA; his 4 grandchildren: Sean Fullum of Hopedale MA, Ryan Fullum of Hopedale MA, Ethan Castiglione of Benicia CA and Halle Castiglione of Honolulu HI; also several nieces & nephews.

Harold was the brother of the late Edward Castiglione, the late Alfred Castiglione and the late Raymond Castiglione.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday (February 16th) at 10am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in Hopedale Village Cemetery. A visiting hour will be held Thursday (February 16th) from 9am to 10am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, prior to his Funeral Service.
