Mr. Hermenegildo Vega-Crespo, 94, of Milford MA, died Tuesday (March 6, 2018) in Holden MA. He was the beloved husband of the late Angela Pabon Vega.
Mr. Vega-Crespo was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico the son of the late Gurmercindo Vega and the late Delfina Crespo. He attended schools in Puerto Rico as a young boy and had been employed for many years in the sugar cane industry while residing in Puerto Rico.
Mr. Vega-Crespo had been a resident of the United States since 1967. He loved music and was a singer/songwriter who loved to compose and sing music. He also loved to cook and was known for his great sense of humor.
Mr. Vega-Crespo is survived by 11 Children: Carmen, Ruben, Sonia, Luz, Wigberto, Lydia, Nilda, Angel, Hector, Sonia Chiquita and Rafael; also many grandchildren & many great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Hipolito.
Due to the impending snow storm on Tuesday (March 13th) the Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Vega-Crespo has been changed to WEDNESDAY (March 14th) at 9am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA, with Pastor Antonio Regalado of the Congregacion Maranatha in Uxbridge MA officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn II Cemetery in Lowell MA. Visiting hours were held Friday (March 9th) from 5pm to 8pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
