Jane Ellen Nelson

Jane E. Nelson, 79, of Milford MA and formerly of Melrose MA died Saturday evening (December 31, 2022) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness.

Jane was born in Lynn MA, the daughter of the late Harry Nelson and the late Mary Claire (Campbell) Nelson. She was a graduate of Revere High School, Class of 1961 and also a graduate of Salem State College, Class of 1965.

Jane was first employed as an elementary school teacher and later became a dedicated homemaker and mother. Later in life she cared for her grandchildren. 

Jane had been a resident of Milford MA since 2003 and prior to that had resided in Melrose MA.

Jane is survived by her daughter: Leeann Ballard of Milford MA; her son: Jeff Sacherski of Northborough MA; her grandsons: Darien Ballard & Tyler Ballard of Milford MA; her 3 sisters: Elinor Glennon and her husband John Glennon of Malden MA, Leslie Nash of California, & Elaine Nelson of Florida; also many nieces & nephews.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. There are no visiting hours or funeral services.
