Janet Pottle Obituary
Mrs. Janet E. (Harris) Pottle, 81, of Milford MA and formerly of Natick MA died Wednesday (October 26, 2022) at Countryside Healthcare of Milford in Milford MA after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond E. Pottle, who died in 2014 and the devoted mother of Yvonne Marshall, Ronald Pottle, Richard Pottle and Jennifer Buck.
Janet was born in Natick MA, the daughter of the late John Wesley Harris and the late Edith M. (Bolser) Harris. She attended Natick public schools.
Janet had been employed for over forty years as a nurse’s aide, first working at the former Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick MA and then alter at various nursing homes in the greater MetroWest area including at Madonna Hall for the Sisters of Good Shepherd in Marlborough MA & at the Medway Country Manor Nursing Home in Medway MA.
Janet is survived by her 4 children: Yvonne Marshall of Norfolk VA, Ronald E. Pottle of Norfolk VA, Richard H. Pottle and his wife Sherry of Cowpens SC & Jennifer L., wife of Edwin Buck of Acton MA; her 7 grandchildren: Amanda Pottle, Michelle Schmidt, Charles Marshall, Samuel Pottle, Ian Buck, Liam Buck and Logan Buck; her 3 great grandchildren: Marlena Schmidt, Cody Schmidt and Charles Marshall III; her 2 brothers: Ralph “Billy” Harris and his wife Rose of Puget Sound WA and David Harris and his wife Liz of Lakeland FL; also several nieces & nephews.
Janet was the sister of the late Douglas Harris and the late Donald Harris.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday (November 1st) at 11AM at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA . Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be held Monday (October 31st ) from 6pm to 8pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
