Jeffrey Intinarelli Obituary

Mr. Jeffrey W. Intinarelli, 77, of Milford MA died Saturday (October 9, 2021) at the UMASS-Memorial Medical Center in Worcester MA after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Margaret (Peggy) Intinarelli for the past 57 years.

Jeffrey was born in Natick MA, the son of the late John and the late Hazel (Turner) Intinarelli. He attended Holliston public schools and was a longtime carpenter, working at various construction companies over the years. He started his career in the family business, with his older brother Jimmy at the Start-Rite Construction Company.

Along with his beloved wife of 57 years, he is survived by his children: Gina, wife of Eric Shuler of San Francisco CA, Jason Intinarelli and his wife Sandy of Holliston MA, Brett Intinarelli of Upton MA, Elizabeth Intinarelli of San Francisco CA, Jeffrey Intinarelli Jr. and his partner Melissa Odabashian of Bellingham MA and Catalda, wife of Ken Gould of San Antonio TX; also several cousins, including Candace Intinarelli of Milford MA and Catherine Intinarelli of Framingham MA who he treated & loved like daughters; also 4 grandchildren: Madison Andrews, Anthony Intinarelli, Jared Intinarelli and Carmen Chan-Intinarelli and 2 great-grandchildren; Dayton and Axel (who Jeff referred to as “Axelrod”) He also is survived by 3 siblings: James Intinarelli and his wife Norma of Hopkinton MA, Joan Hamlet of  Holliston MA and Judy, wife of Andy Luciani of Falmouth MA;  also many nieces & nephews.

Jeffrey was the grandfather of the late Logan Hanson and the brother of the late John “Jackie” Intinarelli.

Jeffrey (“Jabba”) was an avid and strategic poker player; he never turned down a game and made many friends across the poker table. When he traveled, he sought out historical and famous poker rooms, most recently playing at the site of Wild Bill Hickock’s last game in Deadwood, South Dakota. He enjoyed long leisurely lunches with his oldest friends Arthur Deskos and Jimmy Lomuscio, and his late brother Jackie. Jeff and Peggy enjoyed many fun excursions with their life-long friends, Joyce and Eddie McLeod.  Jeff was an amazing cook, his specialties were cappelletti soup and linguini with white clam sauce; though he left the kitchen clean-up to Peggy.

Jeff was an excellent conversationalist, many will remember talking with him for hours at a time, listening to his lively stories, funny jokes and his deep knowledge of history. You could talk with Jabba about any subject, however, we all knew he couldn’t keep a secret. Everyone who knew him will miss his quick wit, generosity of spirit, and his love of being with his family and friends, especially on the bocce court. His heart and his door was always open and everyone was welcome. He was the life of the party!!

In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday (October 16th) from 3pm to 6pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
