Jennie Rita (Pannichelli) DellaRovere

Mrs. Jennie R. (Pannichelli) DellaRovere, 101, of Milford MA died Monday morning (April 21, 2026) at Advinia Care of Northbridge in Northbridge MA after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred D. “Fred” DellaRovere who died in 2020.

Jennie was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Nicholas Pannichelli and the late Josephine (Bulso) Pannichelli. She attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High Scholl, Class of 1943.

Jennie was first employed as a young woman at Telechron Corporation located in Ashland MA. Following that she was employed at the former Lisch Hat Company. Following that she was employed for many years as a secretary & bookkeeper at Electrolux, working in both Milford MA & Framingham MA.

Jennie was a lifelong resident of Milford MA and a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, and had been a member of the church’s Rosella Guild. She also was a very active member of the American Legion Auxiliary, John W. Powers Post #59 in Milford MA.

Jennie was very accomplished in crocheting & rug hooking and had made afghans by the dozens over the years. She also was an avid “ten pin” bowler who remained active into her late “80’s”. She also loved spending time with her late husband Alfred & family members at their summer cottage in Dennis MA on Cape Cod.

Jennie is survived by her 2 sons: Alfred DellaRovere and his companion Jean M. Masse of Milford MA and Dennis DellaRovere and his wife Linda of Mendon MA; her 2 grandsons: Jeffrey DellaRovere and his wife Jennifer Lofgren-DellaRovere of Milton MA and Steven DellaRovere and his wife Allison of Northboro MA; her 4 great grandchildren: Grace, Lydia, Adam & Theodore; also several nieces & nephews.

Jennie was the sister of the late Louis Gastone; the late Joyce Bougery; the late Antoinette Duca; the late Lena Gentili and the late Nicholas Pannichelli Jr.

Her funeral will be held Saturday (April 25th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be held Friday (April 24th) from 5pm to 7pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
