Joanne Elizabeth Cugini

Joanne E. Cugini, 76, formerly of Milford MA died Tuesday (May 28, 2024) at Blackstone Valley Health & Rehabilitation after a period of declining health.

Joanne was born in Framingham MA, the daughter of the late John N. Cugini and the late Grace J. (Vasti) Cugini. She attended Milford public schools as a young girl, graduating from Milford High School.

Joanne had been employed as an accounting clerk for many years, working at various companies over the years, most recently at Ocean Spray on Cape Cod.

Joanne resided in Milford MA during her early years, and had a summer home on Cape Cod. She also had a residence in FT. Pierce FL, which eventually became her retirement home.

Joanne was an avid golfer ever since she was a young woman. She was also an avid bowler and had participated in various bowling leagues. She loved watching sports, especially basketball, baseball, football & golf and she was a huge fan of all the New England sports teams.

Joanne is survived by her 2 nieces: Sharon M. Cugini of Douglas MA and Elizabeth G. Cugini of Northbridge MA; also several cousins. Joanne is aso survived by her best friend from childhood days: Diane Karakehian of Ft. Pierce FL.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Graveside Committal Services on    SATURDAY  (June 15th)     at 11:30am at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Medway Road (Rte 109) in Milford MA. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
