Jose Martin Maqui

Mr. Jose M. Maqui, 69, of Uxbridge MA died Friday (July 29, 2022) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness.

Jose was born in Lima Peru, the son of the late Eduardo E. Maqui Vilca and the late Sebastiana E. Ocampo. He attended school in Peru as a young boy, graduating from high school.

Jose had been employed for many years as a custodian, most recently working at a golf course.

Jose is survived by his 4 siblings: Hipolito Maqui, Vicenta Maqui, Cesar Maqui and Luz G. Maqui deCarrillo; also several nieces & nephews.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Monday (August 8th) at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Relatives & friends are invited to extend their condolences to the family on Sunday (August 7th) from 3pm to 5pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
