Joseph Latulippe Obituary

Mr. Joseph P. Latulippe, 84, of Weymouth MA died Monday morning (October 4, 2021) at Blaire House of Milford in Milford MA after a period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Helen Jean (Gaskey) Latulippe.

 

Joseph was born in Braintree MA, the son of the late Joseph P. and the late Gladys (Shepard) Latulippe.

 

Joseph was a proud US Navy veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was stationed on air craft carriers where he began to learn his trade. He worked as an elevator repairman at Atlantic Elevator Company for many years. He also went to trade school at Coyne Electric where he got his electrician’s license.

 

Joseph had previously resided in Naples Florida and then in Santee SC. He was an active church member and sang in the church choir. Religion was very important to him. He was a wonderful singer and also an accomplished piano player. He spent many hours doing the same at Blaire House and won over many hearts.

 

Joseph also liked to collect clocks as a hobby.

 

Joseph is survived by his 3 children; Lisa Rooslet and her husband Dennis of Plymouth MA, Lori Erickson and her husband John of Littleton MA and Steven Latulippe and his wife Tanya of North Attleboro MA; his 5 grandchildren: Hillary Rooslet of Littleton MA, Arielle Rooslet of Plymouth MA , with great grandchild Avery; Cortney Barbato of Harvard MA, with great grandchildren Jordan and Shepard; Eric Sheehan of Littleton MA and Benjamin Sheehan of Ayer MA.

 

Joseph was previously married to the late Nancy(Cappola) Carey Latulippe and leaves behind 2 step-children: Denise Aderton and her husband Jeffrey & granddaughter Lindsey of Rockland MA  and  James Carey and his wife Debra  & grandsons Jimmy, Joseph and Jacob of Pembroke MA. 

 

In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, (November 27th) at 2:00PM at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 164 Newtown Road, Acton MA. A Private Graveside Committal Service for family members will be held at the convenience of the family.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a donation in Joseph's memory to Homes for Our Troops, 6 Main Street, Taunton MA 02780
