Josephine M. (Addonizio) Borden

Mrs. Josephine (Addonizio) Borden, 94, of Bellingham MA, died Monday (March 9, 2020) at her residence after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert G. Borden, who died in 2012.

Josephine was born in East Boston MA, the daughter of the late Gaetano and the late Giuseppinna (DeNisco) Addonizio. She was a graduate of East Boston High School and was first employed at the former Brevoni Hosiery Company located in Bellingham MA. After years of being a devoted wife and mother she later worked as a sales person at Great Shapes.

Josephine was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and also loved to cook, crochet and knit. She also loved her occasional  

trips to the casinos.

Josephine is survived by her son: Robert G. Borden Jr. of Bellingham MA; her nieces & nephews: Rosemarie Chapski of Ft. Myers FL, Jeanette Eliopoulos of Ft. Myers FL, Michael Ciccone of Walpole MA and Skipper Borden of Woburn MA; her grandniece: Faydra Eliopoulos of Bonita Springs FL and a longtime family friend: Donna Fafard-Hurley of Bellingham MA.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Graveside Committal Service on Saturday (April 4th) at 11am in Scott Cemetery, Center Street, Bellingham MA. There are no funeral home visiting hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
