Mr. Juan Carlos Rey, 60, of Milford MA died Tuesday (June 11, 2024) at the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington MA. He was the beloved husband of Maria D. (Mercado) Lara.

Juan Carlos was born in Bogota Colombia, the son of Gabriel Rey and the son of Ines (Hernandez) Hernandez.

Juan Carlos had been employed in the hospitality industry for many years, working as a waiter.

Along with his beloved wife, he is survived by his 4 children and his 3 siblings.

In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place. His funeral will be held Friday (June 21st) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 NOON in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial of his cremains will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be held on Friday morning (June 21st) from 9:30am to 11:30am, prior to his Funeral Mass.
