Julia A. (Goddard) Partlow

Mrs. Julia A. (Goddard) Partlow, 92, of Milford MA died Sunday (May 9, 2021) at Genesis-Milford Center after a long period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Partlow, who died August 4, 2012.

Julia was born in Ashland NH, the daughter of the late Leon F. and the late Carrie G. (Roberts) Goddard. She was a graduate of Belmont MA High School, Class of 1946.

Julia worked as a bookkeeper for many years, working for various companies in the manufacturing, travel and restaurant industries. She loved to knit & crochet, read, do all kinds of puzzles, and going to the beach. She, and her deceased husband worked with the youth groups of their churches. They both loved missionary work as well, and helped build a college dormitory for the Nazarene Church in Tobego, Trinidad. She also worked with her deceased husband in many nursing home ministries. Her faith in God, her love of Jesus, and her church were very important to her.

Her family was also very important to her, and she spent many summers taking care of several of her grandchildren, and going to the beach, baseball games, and dance recitals, etc. with them.

Julia is survived by her 3 children: Kenneth Partlow and his wife Theri, and their 2 daughters: Nicole and her husband Clay; Maygan, and her 2 children, all of Gulf Breeze FL; Kevin Partlow and his wife Donna of Millville MA, and their children: Shawn Hanson; Lisa Wilson and her 3 children; Jamie Avanzato, her husband Angelo, and 2 children; Brandon, and his son, Samuel, and his wife Anna, and their newborn daughter; her deceased son Eric’s wife Pat of Blackstone MA, and their children: Jessica, and her 2 children; John, and his wife Jennifer, and their daughter. Daughter Marcia K. Partlow of Blackstone MA, son Brian, and his wife Lisa, and their 3 children.

In total there are 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.

Julia was the mother of the late Linda Diane Partlow; the late Mark Wade Partlow and the late Eric W. Partlow. She was also the sister of the late Mervin Leon Goddard; the late Milton Floyd Goddard and the late Mavis Leona Murphy. She is also the aunt to many nieces, and nephews. Some of which pre-deceased her.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be set up for family and friends in this area, at a later date to be determined. A Graveside Committal Service will be held in Arcola IL at the convenience of the family. There are no visiting hours.
