Kenneth R. Evers Jr.

Mr. Kenneth R. Evers Jr., 95, of New Orleans LA and formerly of Milford MA & Cape Coral FL died Wednesday (November 19, 2025) in Reserve LA after a period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor P. (Johnson) Evers who died in 2018.

Ken was born in Milford MA, the son of the late Kenneth R. Evers and the late Agnes E. (Fougere) Evers. He attended the former St. Mary’s Grammar School & St. Mary’s High School.

Ken was a proud veteran having served in both the US Army from 1947 to 1950 and in the US Navy from 1951 to 1955.

Ken had been employed for over 25 years at the Fenwal Corporation located in Ashland MA.

Ken was a past member of the Knights of Columbus and as a younger man was a member of the Milford Ski Club. He also volunteered as a boy scout leader while raising his children.

Ken is survived by his 5 children: David Evers and his wife Mary Ellen of Milford MA, Edward Evers and his wife Paulette of Uxbridge MA, Russell Evers and his wife Mary Lynn of Naples FL, James Evers and his partner Joseph Giordano of Milford MA & Dr. Patrice Evers and her partner James Scioneaux of New Orleans LA; his 6 grandchildren: Kelly Carillon of Columbus GA, Angela Evers of Uxbridge MA, Susan Evers of Blackstone MA, Russell Evers of Naples FL, Hunter Evers of Needham MA & Jacob Rosenfeld of Cincinnati OH; also his 6 great grandchildren; his 3 siblings: Barbara Speranza of Hopkinton MA, Thomas Evers of Uxbridge MA & Harold Evers of RI; also several nieces & nephews.

Ken was the brother of the late Marion Reynolds; the late Eleanor Covino; the late Dorothy Ciaramicoli; the late Joanne Buell; the late Linda Parker; the late John Evers; the late Robert Evers & the late Donald Evers.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. His funeral will be held Saturday (December 6th) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in Sacred Heart Church, 187 Hopedale Street, Hopedale MA. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA. A visiting hour will be held Saturday morning (December 6th) from 10:30am to 11:30am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, prior to his Funeral Mass.
