Larsen Dwyer Obituary

Mr. Larsen W. Dwyer, 56, of Upton MA, died Sunday (December 26, 2021) at Massachusetts General Hospital after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Darlene M. (Doe) Dwyer, and grew up in Westboro, the son of Meridyth (Larsen) Dwyer and the late William Dwyer.

Lars was a graduate of Worcester State College and Owner\Founder of Larsen Technologies, a technology company that specializes in the voice/data industry.  With devoted customers Lars was highly regarded by all and sought out as an expert in his field as someone who could be counted on to deliver high quality and well thought out solutions, in addition to excellence in customer service.  He was a licensed Real Estate Agent and Mortgage Broker in addition to being a Notary.

An avid outdoorsman who loved all kinds of fishing (ice, fly, trout, salmon, or striper) but he especially loved being on his boat on the ocean or sitting and gazing out at the ocean. He also enjoyed hunting and the quiet of the woods. Not one to sit idle Lars could often be found riding his Harley with friends or wife and had recently purchased a toy hauler camper to further enjoy motorcycle riding, nature, friends\family, and traveling.  He liked to ski, golf, ride his ATV, scuba dive, brew beer, and drive his classic convertible whenever time allowed.

With a magnetic personality and fun-loving nature, he would try most any activity and was the person everyone gravitated towards.  His love for life and laughter was unmatched, and his high energy and work hard\play hard attitude made him someone everyone wanted to be around.  He was a generous person who brought the fun and would give his time, expertise, tools, or guidance to help friends, family, or strangers whenever needed.

Along with his beloved wife & partner for the past 34 years, he is survived by his mother: Meridyth Dwyer of Westboro MA & Bradenton FL; his sister: Heather Colcord of Northborough MA; his brother: Sean Dwyer of Dayville CT; 3 nieces & 6 nephews; his mother-in-law: Charlene Doe of Mendon MA; his 2 brothers-in-law: Chasson Doe of Mendon MA and Calvin Doe of Uxbridge MA.
