Obituary

Mrs. Laura J. (Larson) Fafard, 57, of Hopedale MA, died Monday (December 21, 2020) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was the beloved wife of Ronald C. Fafard; the loving mother of Ashley Fafard and the devoted daughter of Alice M. (Sanborn) Larson, all of Hopedale MA and the late Richard R. Larson Sr.

 

Laura was born in Milford MA and attended Hopedale public schools, graduating from Hopedale High School, Class of 1981.

 

Laura was first employed as a young woman for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at the Department of Revenue and at the former Mass Electric Company, which became National Grid. She later became a devoted housewife and mother, her favorite goal in life.

 

Laura loved doing crafts at the Senior Center, but her favorite past-time was spending time with her family members, especially the trips with her daughter Ashley, to Misquamicut Beach in RI.

 

Laura is survived by her beloved husband of 22 years; her devoted daughter: Ashley Fafard of Hopedale MA; her loving mother: Alice M. (Sanborn) Larson of Hopedale MA; her brother: Ronald Larson and his wife Moira of Northbridge MA; also several nieces & nephews.

 

Laura was the sister of the late Richard R. Larson Jr. of Hopedale MA.

 

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place and burial of her cremains will take place in Vernon Grove Cemetery in Milford MA. Additional funeral services will be announced in the coming days.
