Laura Mae (Groccia) Morelli

Mrs. Laura M. (Groccia) Morelli, 67, of Taunton MA and formerly of Bellingham MA died Thursday (December 23, 2021) at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River MA after an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter M. Morelli, who died in 2012.

Laura was born in  Worcester MA, the daughter of the late Frank and the late Edith (Lubin) Groccia. She was a graduate of North High School in Worcester MA.

Laura grew up in Worcester MA and had resided in Bellingham MA from1977 to 2014. She has been a resident of Taunton MA since 2014.

Laura loved attending “Bingo” at St. Blaise Church while residing in Bellingham and also loved helping those who were in need. But her favorite past-time was spending time with her loving family, especially her grand children & her beloved pet dogs.

Laura is survived by her 2 Daughters: Angelina White and her husband Faron of Taunton MA and Christine Carter and her husband Jon of Auburn MA; her 7 Grandchildren: Joseph Mulhern, Aidan Mulhern, Liam Mulhern, Adriana Bennett, Landon Walker, Natalie Walker and Camden Carter; her 2 Sisters: Judith Groccia of Worcester MA and Ruth Caporelli of Worcester MA; her Mother-in-law: Mrs. Shirley Morelli of Mendon MA; her Brothers-in-law: Dean Morelli and his wife Therese of Mendon MA, Stephen Morelli and his wife Jean of Milford MA, Thomas Morelli and his wife Nadine of Milford MA; her Sister-in-law: Jill Mazzarelli and her husband Joseph of Mendon MA; also many nieces & nephews.

Laura was the sister-in-law of the late Lynn Morelli of Milford MA.

Funeral Services will be held TUESDAY  (January 4, 2022) at 10am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be held MONDAY (January 3, 2022) from 5pm to 7pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
