Laurie Lenzi Carr

Laurie Lenzi Carr, 67, of Milford MA died Wednesday (December 15, 2021) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness.

Laurie was born in Framingham MA, the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and the late Lucy (Cifizzari) Lenzi. She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Framingham State University in 1980 and later received her master’s in early childhood education from Wheelock College in 1991.

Laurie was first employed as a pre-school teacher. From1987 to 2002 she was employed as the Lead Teacher at The Child Care Center at Framingham State University. Then from 2003 to 2021 she served as Residence Life Assignment Coordinator at Framingham State University.

Laurie was an avid patron of the arts. She was a producer & actor with the Milford Performing Arts.

Laurie is survived by her children: William W. Carr II and his fiancée Jamey Warrington of Marion MA, Amber Berry of Oregon and Ashley Berry of Milford MA; her longtime partner Jay Emmitt of Milford MA; her nephew Larry Lenzi of Milford MA; along with other beloved family members & countless loved ones.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Cemetery Committal Service on SATURDAY (January 15th) at 11:30am in the Bertoni Chapel at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Medway Road (Rte 109), Milford MA.

A Celebration of her Life will be held in April of 2022 on a DAY & TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED.

Due to COVID-19 and the family's concerns for the wellbeing of everyone, the use of face masks will be required for her cemetery committal services.
