Lorraine Marie (Stevens) Maddeford

Mrs. Lorraine M. (Stevens) Maddeford, 72, of Franklin MA and formerly of Milford MA and Boston MA, died Wednesday (January 6, 2021) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was the wife of the late Charles Maddeford.

Lorraine was born in Boston MA, the daughter of the late Charles C. Stevens Sr. and the late Phyllis T. (Albanese) Stevens. She attended Mission Church Grammar School and was a graduate of Mission Church High School, in Boston MA.

Lorraine had been employed as an administrative assistant at Sherrill House Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Boston MA from 1984 to 2001.Lorraine loved all animals.

Lorraine is survived by her son: Christopher Wilkins of Franklin MA; her 5 siblings; Pamela Orlando of Bradenton FL, Marion, wife of Stephen Murphy of Aberdeen NC, Diane, wife of Kurt Sundwall of Marshfield MA, Charles Stevens Jr. of Boston MA and Felicia Roche of St. Petersburg FL; also several nieces & nephews.

Lorraine was the sister of the late John Stevens.

Due to the COVID-19 gathering restrictions and the family’s concern for the wellbeing of family members & friends a Private Funeral Service will be held at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow. Social distancing protocols & use of face masks will be required for all facets of the funeral services.
