Louise M. (Ramelli) Bodio, 104, died peacefully surrounded by family at Countryside Health Care, Milford, MA, January 15, 2023, where she was a resident since October, 2020.
Louise was born to Antonio & Albina (Felloni) Ramelli and lived most of her life at 58 Mt. Pleasant St, Milford, MA. She is survived by her sister Pierina (Poppy) Ramelli, 102, by her children Robert and his wife Ann (Cenedella) of Dennis, MA, Nancy Niro and her husband Tony of Baltimore, MD and Don and his wife Kelly (Marquet) of Mesa, AZ. She also has several grandchildren: Lisa Sheehan and her husband, Michael of Medway, MA, Atty Robert Bodio and his wife Tracy (Thistle) of Ashland, MA, and Stephen Bodio and his wife Alanna (Dubiago) of Mendon, MA, Dr. Francesca (Niro) Uberoi and her husband Dr. Jayant Uberoi of Baltimore, MD, Anthony Niro of Jackson Hole, WY, and Veyah Marquet-Bodio of Mesa, AZ. Her great-grandchildren Ryan, Alexander, Isabella Bodio, Dylan, Fynn & Bryn Sheehan, Brayden & Emmalyn Bodio, Rohan & Indira Uberoi.
Louise graduated Milford High School in 1936 and worked for the Milford National Bank and Trust Co. and the former Milford Savings Bank.
Louise and her husband Bob where avid golfers and members of the Hopedale Country Club for more than 30 years. She served as Women’s League President for a term and played until she was 90 years old. Additionally, Louise and Bob enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Europe.
She is pre-deceased by her siblings; Mary Zeni, Jennie Longo, Lena Vesperi, Charles Ramelli, Andrea Ramelli, and Louis Ramelli.
In accordance with her wishes relatives & friends are invited to extend their condolences to Louise’s family on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 11:00am-12:00pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
