Mrs. Louise D. (Warren) Ducharme, 92, of Adamsville TN and formerly of Milford MA died Wednesday (March 30, 2022) in Adamsville TN after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Rene Ducharme, who died in 1958.
Louise was born in Brockton MA, the daughter of the late Arthur Warren and the late Julia (Fate) Warren. She attended public schools in Dedham MA and in Walpole MA.
Louise was first employed as a young woman for the US Navy – Department of Defense at the Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston MA. She later worked at the UniRoyal Company located in Woonsocket RI and then as a drafts person for the former Factory Mutual Insurance Company located in Norwood MA. She was lastly employed at the Bibeauult & Florentz Engineering Company located in Woonsocket RI, from which she retired in 1998.
Louise was a longtime member of the Franklin Federated Church and was a longtime active member of the Odd Fellows and the Rebekahs, having served as the Noble Grand for four different terms. She also served as the State Chaplain for the Rebekahs from 1992 to 1993.
Louise is survived by her 2 sons: Roger Ducharme and his wife Diane of Wareham MA and formerly of Mendon MA and Warren A. Ducharme and his wife Cynthia of Tennessee; 2 grandchildren: Jeremy Ducharme of Bedford MA and Alicia Ducharme of Tennessee; 2 great grandsons: Nicholas Ducharme and Sean Ducharme; 4 Brothers & Sisters: Sally Titus of Attleboro MA, Harold Warren of Arizona, Claire Lange of North Attleboro MA and Bruce Warren of Florida; also many nieces & nephews.
Louise was the sister of the late Arthur Warren III of West Yarmouth MA, the late Ivy Cannon Gurchiek of Ospree FL, the late Violet Mercure of North Attleboro MA, the late George Warren of Milford MA, the late Dorothy Sesona of Milford MA and the late Julia Stevens of Nakomis FL.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Graveside Committal Service on Saturday (April 9th) at 11am in St. Charles Cemetery in Blackstone MA. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
