MSG Bryan J. Fletcher (US Army), 42, of Milford MA and formerly of Natick MA died Friday (December 11, 2020) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Kathryn M. (Quick) Fletcher.
Bryan was born in Natick MA, the son of James C. and Barbara E. (Buttrick) Fletcher of Natick MA. He attended Natick public schools, graduating from Natick High School, Class of 1996. He then attended Framingham State University and graduated from Nichols College.
Bryan began his illustrious military career enlisting in the US Army Reserve in 1997. He was deployed to the Middle East from February 2003 to September 2004 and was presently serving as an active duty guard soldier in the Massachusetts Army National Guard, since 2007.
Bryan loved to travel, especially his trips to Old Orchard Beach in Maine and to the Saratoga NY race track. He especially loved spending time with his family members & friends.
Bryan is survived by his beloved wife of six years; his father & mother of Natick MA; his sister: Brenda Barton and her husband Andrew Murphy of Norfolk MA; several aunts, uncles, nieces and one nephew; also his father-in-law & mother-in-law: Col. Gregory and Diane (Conley) Quick (US Army – Ret) of Norfolk MA; his brother-in-law: James Quick of Norfolk MA and sister-in-law: Patricia Quick and her husband George Muriuki of Bellingham MA.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and his family’s concerns for the wellbeing of family members and friends a Private Funeral Service for family members only will be held Monday (December 21st) at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial, with Military Honors will follow at 1PM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne MA. Anyone wishing to participate in the funeral cortege from the funeral home to Bourne MA is asked to arrive at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home between 11:15am and 11:30am. Social distancing protocols & use of face masks will be required for all facets of the funeral services.
