Marian E. (Lewis) Kallin

Marian E. (Lewis) Kallin,67, of Milford, MA, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2022, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was the daughter of the late Catherine and Chester Lewis and the beloved wife of Bruce Kallin, to whom she was married for 42 years.

Marian grew up in Ashland and graduated from Ashland High School in 1974. She lived in Milford for the past 35 years.

Marian enjoyed spending time with her family, playing mah-jongg, bowling, and watching game shows and mysteries. She worked in the retail and security fields and as a homemaker. She was a long-time member of Temple Beth Shalom in Milford.

In addition to her husband Bruce, Marian is survived by her son Michael Kallin and his wife Kate of West Boylston MA, her daughter Lisa O’Callahan and her husband Patrick of West Boylston MA, and her grandchildren, Caileigh and Liam O’Callahan and Marissa and Melanie Kallin.

She also leaves behind her sister Frances McNutt (Robert) of Holliston MA, her sister Diane Ward (Charles) of Medfield MA, her brother William Lewis of Ashland MA, her brother-in-law Gary Kallin (Mindy Linet) of Holliston MA, her brother-in-law Scott Kallin (Bridget) of Hudson MA, her sister-in-law Michele Kallin of Framingham MA, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank her wonderful caregivers, Giovanna and Maria, and her special friend Deborra, who took care of her and loved her throughout the latter stages of her illness.

A Celebration of her Life will be held Sunday (May 1, 2022) at 12:00PM at the Temple Beth Shalom, 55 Pine Street, Milford MA. Shiva immediately following service at Marian's late residence and on Monday (May 2, 2022) 4pm - 8pm, with Minyan at 5pm.
