Mary Elisa (Andreano) Roche

Mrs. Mary E. (Andreano) Roche, 97, of Milford MA died Thursday (July 27, 2023) at Blueberry Hill Rehabilitation in Beverly MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward F. Roche, who died in 1984.

Mary was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Matthew Andreano and the late Lena (McRae) Andreano. She attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School, Class of 1943.

Mary had been employed for many years as a customer service representative  for the former New England Telephone Company, working in the Milford office and Framingham office.

Mary was a longtime communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church and had volunteered as a “reader” at Kindergarten Classes at Memorial School in Milford. She was also a longtime member of the NE Telephone Pioneers Club.

Mary is survived by her sister: Ann Darmody of Salem MA; also several nieces & nephews.

Mary was the sister of the late Lawrence Andreano and the late Barbara Harraghy.

Her funeral will be held  Monday (July 31st)     from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 NOON in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow. A visiting hour will be held Monday (July 31st)  from 10:30am to 11:30am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, prior to her Funeral Mass.
