Mrs. Mary (Nash) Todd, 101, of Milford MA died Wednesday (June 4, 2025) at Blaire House of Milford after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Todd and the devoted mother of the late James Todd.
Mary was born in Glasgow Scotland, the daughter of the late William Nash and the late Mary (McMenemy) Nash. She attended St. Francis School & St. Luke School as a young girl in Glasgow Scotland.
Mary moved from Scotland to Canada in 1952 with her family. She then resided in Milford MA from 1956 to 1986. She returned to Scotland from 1986 to 1999, only to return to Milford MA again.
Mary was first employed as a young woman, working as a stitcher at the former Bancroft Cap Company located in Framingham MA, where she worked for 14 years. She later worked at the Fenwal Corporation located in Ashland MA, retiring in 1986.
Mary was a longtime member of The Lady Gordon Lodge Daughters of Scotia. Mary loved to travel and also loved to dance. Her favorite past time was spending time with her beloved family & her friends.
Mary is survived by her daughter-in-law: Lorraine Todd of Milford MA; her 3 grandchildren: Jeannine Di Camillo and her husband Nicholas Di Camillo of Palos Verdes Estates CA, Lauren Dias of Holliston MA and James R. Todd of Castle Rock CO; also her 4 great grandchildren: Francisco Dias III, Chiara DiCamillo, Gabriella DiCamillo and Landon Dias.
She was the beloved mother of the late James Todd of Milford MA who died in 2012. Mary was also pre-deceased by 4 sisters & 4 brothers.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday ( June 17th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Scared Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow and a Private Committal Service will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours will be held Monday (June 16th) from 5pm to 7pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
