Michael Frederick Becker

Mr. Michael F. Becker, 68, of Uxbridge MA, died Friday (January 28, 2022) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Indira Z. Carroll.

Michael was born in Framingham MA, the son of the late George and the late Barbara (Gersbach) Becker. He was a graduate of Framingham South High School.

Michael was a Viet Nam War veteran having served in the US Army.

Michael had been employed for the past twenty years as a chef, working at the Radisson Hotel in Marlborough MA, which later became the Courtyard Hotel.

Michael was an avid musician who played the guitar & the piano. He recently wrote & authored a song entitled “Make It Right”.

Along with his beloved wife & companion of twenty years, he is survived by four children: Samuel Becker and his wife Ari of Holden MA, Gustavo “Santi” Carroll of Uxbridge MA, Isaiah Becker of Uxbridge MA and Sebastian Merchan of Uxbridge MA; 1 grandson: Henry Becker of Holden MA; three siblings: George Becker and his wife Lee of Bellingham MA, Robin Becker of Newton MA and Tim Becker and his wife Lorna of Westminster MA; also several nieces & nephews.

Relatives & friends are invited to extend their condolences to his family on Tuesday (February 1st) from 5pm to 7pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. A Graveside Committal Service, with Military Honors, will be held Wednesday (February 2nd) at 12:30PM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne MA.
