Michael Anthony Morcone

Mr. Michael A. Morcone, 45, of Milford MA died Wednesday (February 8, 2023) surrounded by his loving family members after a courageous battle with cancer.

Michael was born in Framingham MA, the son of Christopher C. Morcone Jr. and the son of the late Linda M. (Bacchiocchi) Morcone. He attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School, Class of 1995.

Michael had been employed in the construction industry for many years. He was first employed as a laborer working for Mr. Harris Tredeau. He then became employed at IRT Corporation located in Boston MA. Later in life he became a self employed independent contractor as an accomplished carpenter.

Michael was very generous with his time & expertise for people in need, helping people with repairs, landscaping and all kinds of projects. But his favorite past time was spending time with his beloved family members, especially sitting around the campfire & going fishing with his two sons.

Michael found faith in God at both The Way Church located on Pine Street in Milford MA and at the Iglesia Cristiana Juan 3:16 Church located on Main Street in Milford MA.

Michael is survived by his 2 sons: Aiden M. B. Morcone of Milford MA & Christian Morcone of Milford MA; his father: Christopher C. Morcone Jr. of Milford MA; his 2 siblings: Christopher C. Morcone III and his wife Carol of Hopkinton MA & Stephen J. Morcone and his wife Tina of Anthem AZ; his nephew: Dylan Morcone of Anthem AZ; also his aunt, uncle & cousins. He was the beloved son of the late Linda M. (Bacchiocchi) Morcone.

Relatives & friends are invited to extend condolences to his family on Saturday (February 11th) from 3pm to 5pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. In accordance with his wishes cremation will follow.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at The Way Church, 41 Pine Street, Milford MA on a DAY & TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED.

A Private Committal Service of his cremated remains will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA at the convenience of the family.
