Patricia Gladys McDonough

Ms. Patricia G. McDonough, 81, of Boston MA and formerly of Milford MA died Tuesday (April 1, 2025) at Carlyle House in Framingham MA.

Patricia was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Francis S. and late Grace (Tochterman) McDonough. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic High School in Milford and was a graduate of the former Framingham State College, now known as Framingham State University.

Patricia began her career as a dedicated teacher, using those skills to pivot into a successful long-term career with a regional staffing firm headquartered here in MA. Patricia remained with the firm in leadership roles successfully navigating national and international acquisitions before retiring. After retiring, she served as a volunteer at several organizations throughout the city, including Boston by Foot Tours. Patricia loved traveling, reading and supporting the arts throughout the City of Boston.

Patricia is survived by her loving extended family. Patricia was the sister of the late Stephen F. McDonough of Needham MA who died in 2019.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. A Celebration of her Life will be held on THURSDAY (April 24th) from 11:00am to 12 NOON at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. Burial of her cremains will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA.
