To all that knew and "loved" Wally,
We grew up in a time when things were so simple.  Using a rolled up book bag at St. Mary's on Winter Street, playing football, and I can still hear friends like Pat O'Brian, Joe Luby, making playes like the pros.  I still hear them distant voices saying things like"Wally Go Long". Our poor mom's having to sew patches on our pants daily.
Thanks to the Seaver Family for my Dad's job, how he loved working that Boston rout.  God's Speed Wally,,,  Rest in Peace,,,,,,Paul Perry

Dear Mrs. Seaver and Family,

While we have just gotten to know you this year as our daughter's teacher, and did not know Paul personally, please know how sorry we are for the loss of your dear husband and father; son; sibling; coach; and friend to so many.

Since last summer, when people would ask who our daughter's first grade teacher would be, we have been amazed at the sheer number of people here in Milford who have spoken so highly of your wonderful family: many mentioned what a beloved coach Paul was in the community and beyond.

While we will not be among the so many fortunate people who knew Paul and counted him as a friend, we feel deeply for the long struggle that he and your family have endured. Our hearts are saddened for you - may the many outpourings of love and friendship that are coming to you now, help to ease your pain in some small way.

Most Sincerely,

Carolyn, Tom and Cee-Cee

Dear Mary Louise and Seaver Family, I am so saddened to learn of your beloved Paul's passing. I must admit that since Wally and I were the same age I always felt a special kinship with him! Wally's warm demeanor and adorable smile will be missed by all. In our younger days I would see Wally from time to time when he worked for Mooney and Company in Holliston with my dear friend, Tim. We always enjoyed talking about our mutual "Milford" connections, especially noting the life-long friendship of our wonderful Mothers. May you feel comfort in knowing what a great person he was. With love and deepest sympathy to all of you, Daisy, Jimmy, Kristina, James and Daniel Ferdenzi

Dearest Seaver Family:
I cannot express how saddened I am to learn of the passing of my lifelong friend.  Paul and I were teammates at MHS, and later rivals on the basketball court.  We competed hard against each other, and at the end of the game remained friends.  Paul and I took an English class together at MHS, and it was good to see him in another light - he was very funny.  Paul was so happy for me when I got my first coaching job, and our picture together in the Daily News is something I will hold onto for the rest of my life.  My deepest sympathies to Debbie and his two great sons, he was very proud of you.  Being in CA now, I will be unable to attend the services, but know that Paul will always be in my heart, and I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers in this very sad time.  May God welcome him with open arms because it's a slam dunk that he's in heaven now!  RIP my friend.
