Raymonde Marie Savoie

Raymonde M. Savoie, 95 of Bellingham MA died Friday (January 20, 2023) at Medway Country Manor in Medway MA after a period of declining health.

Raymonde was born in New Brunswick Canada, the daughter of the late Amede Savoie and the late Marie (Mache) Savoie. She attended public school in Canada, graduating from high school.

Raymonde was first employed as a young woman as a school teacher in Canada. She later became a devoted mother & housewife upon moving to the United States in 1953. She volunteered at the former St. Mary’s parochial schools in Milford while her children attended school there.

Raymonde loved to travel and would drive herself for long trips to Florida & back to Canada. She was a longtime member of “the Singles Club” in Milford. But her favorite past time was spending time with her beloved family members, especially her children and her grandchildren.

Raymonde is survived by her 5 children:  Joanne Frascotti of CT, Pierre Blanchard and his wife Maryellen of Maine, Helen Blanchard of Dennis MA, Bruno Blanchard of Bellingham MA and Andre Blanchard of Bourne MA; her 10 grandchildren: Rebecca McNutt, Edmund Frascotti, Malory Evans, Spencer Blanchard, Matthew Mainini, Gregory Mainini, Kristen Blanchard, Michelle Blanchard, Loren Blanchard, Ben Blanchard; several great grandchildren;  her 4 siblings: Bridget Savoie, Hubert Savoie, Janette McNichol and Henry Paul Savoie;

also many nieces & nephews.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. A Private Committal of her cremains will follow in Vernon Grove Cemetery in Milford MA at the convenience of the family. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
