Rhonda Ann (Simmons) Horton

Rhonda A. (Simmons) Horton, 55, of Milford MA died unexpectedly on Saturday (August 7, 2021) at her residence.

Rhonda was born in Milford MA, the daughter of Richard A. Simmons and Linda (Bianchi) Beauchesne and had attended Milford public schools. She was a longtime Milford resident.

Rhonda was first employed for Amazon and then later at Waters Corporation.

Rhonda loved the outdoors and loved to go fishing, camping & canoeing.

Rhonda is survived by her parents: Richard A. Simmons of Milford MA and her mother: Linda (Bianchi) Beauchesne of Fountain Inn SC; her 3 children: Dennis P. Simmons of Southampton MA, Michael W. Welch of Three Rivers MA and Cora L. Simmons of Dalton MA; her 5 grandchildren: Annabelle, Everleigh, Kailey, Jeremy and Kira; her 3 siblings: Robert Simmons of Apache Junction AZ, Roxanne Reynolds of Easley SC and Randy Simmons of Fountain Inn SC; also several nieces, nephews & cousins.

Rhonda was the sister of the late Raymond Simmons who died in 1987 and the late Richard Simmons who died in 2017.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. Relatives & friends are invited to extend their condolences to Rhonda’s family on Thursday (August 19th) from 5pm to 7pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. A Private Graveside Committal Service of her cremains will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA at the convenience of the family.
