Richard Donald Taylor

Mr. Richard D. Taylor, 60, of Mendon MA died unexpectedly on Tuesday (May 18, 2021) at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Corrina P. (Minkema) Taylor.

Richard was born in Milford MA, the son of the late Richard A. Taylor and the son of Joanne M. (Sannicandro) Taylor of Milford MA.

Richard attended the former St. Mary’s parochial school and Milford public schools. He was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1979.

As a young man Richard had owned & operated K&D Printing Company. For the past twenty years he had owned & operated, along with his beloved wife, the Bernat Mill Antiques Store, located in Uxbridge MA.

Richard loved dogs and loved to go fishing. He also loved to restore old, vintage cars, including his Ford Mustang. But his favorite past-time was spending time with his beloved family.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years; his daughter: Kristie, wife of Jon Reed of Hardwick MA; his son: Douglas Taylor and his longtime girlfriend Michelle Belo of Whitinsville MA; his step-son: Conner Young of Mendon MA; his loving mother: Joanne M. (Sannicandro) Taylor of Milford MA; also several aunts, uncles & cousins.

Visiting hours will be held Sunday (May 23rd) from 2pm to 4pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. In accordance with his wishes cremation will follow. Social distancing protocols & use of face masks will be required for all facets of the funeral services.
