Mr. Robert Taylor, 82, of Milford MA died Thursday (November 19, 2020) at his residence after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Jean (Dunham) Taylor.
Robert was born in Brighton MA, the son of the late Robert P. and the late Josephine (McGrath) Taylor. He was a graduate of Don Bosco Trade School and had been employed as a baker for over thirty years at Wonder Bread in Natick MA. He was a longtime member and past-president of the BC&T Union.
Robert had been a member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard and had served during the Viet Nam era.
Along with his beloved wife of fifty-two years, he is survived by his four daughters: Lis aBoulay and her husband Gary of Swansea MA, Colette Viveiros and her husband Robert of Shepardville KY, Melissa Bishop and her husband John of Uxbridge MA and Cindy Taylor and her fiancé Michael Bellacqua of Milford MA; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and one sister: Fidelis Taylor of Portland ME.
In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no visiting hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
