Steven Rigby Obituary

 

Mr. Steven J. Rigby, 40, of Douglas MA died Saturday at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Webster MA after being stricken at his residence.

 

Steven was born in Natick MA, the son of Michael Rigby and the son of Elizabeth J. (Harmon) Belcher. He attended Waltham MA public schools.

 

Steven had been employed as an electrician at Hill Street Fire & Alarm Company. Prior to that he had been employed as a welder at NSR in Plymouth MA and also had been employed at Albeco Fastener & Supply Company in West Newton MA.

 

Steven was an avid outdoorsman, he loved being outside. He loved all kinds of water activities, especially fishing, and spending time with his son, Julian. He also loved riding dirt bikes and spending time with his family members & friends.

 

Steven is survived by his mother: Elizabeth Belcher of Milford MA; his father: Michael Rigby of Marion MA; his son Julian of Framingham MA; his brother: Michael Rigby and his wife Meghan of Milford MA; his aunt: Patty Harmon of Milford MA; his uncle: Thomas Harmon and his wife Pamela of Milford MA; his cousins: Thomas Harmon Jr. & Jonathan Harmon of Milford MA. Steven was the step-son of the late Frederick Belcher.

 

In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place. Relatives & friends are invited to extend their condolences to his family on Saturday (December   18th) from   1pm to  3pm, at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA.
