Mrs. Susan K. (Alger) Byam, 69, of Bellingham MA, died Friday (June 3, 2022) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after being stricken at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Roland L. Byam.
Susan was born in Worcester MA, the daughter of the late Richard Alger and the late Esther (Holland) Alger Deletti. She was the step-daughter of the late Albert Deletti.
Susan was a graduate of Bellingham High School, Class of 1971, and had attended Quinsigamond College . She had been employed for years as a teacher at various child day care schools in the greater Milford area. She had been a resident of Bellingham MA for most of her life.
Along with her beloved husband of 47 years, she is survived by her 2 children: Aimee Buckley and her husband Michael Buckley of Myrtle Beach SC and Christopher Byam and his fiancée Kelly Janovsky of Worcester MA; her3 grandchildren: Nathan Best of Bellingham MA, Caitlyn Buckley & Morgan Buckley of Myrtle Beach SC; her brother: Richard Alger and his wife Deborah of Blackstone MA; also several nieces & nephews.
In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on SATURDAY (JUNE 18th) at 9am at St. Blaise Church, 1158 South Main Street, Bellingham MA. There are no visiting hours.
