Teresa (Nealon) Manzo

Teresa (Nealon) Manzo, 62, of Milford MA passed away Tuesday (May 27, 2025).

Teresa was born in Waco TX, the daughter of the late Francis A. Nealon and the daughter of Rita M. (Berardi) Nealon of Milford MA. She attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School, Class of 1981. She attained her associate degree from Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester MA in 1983 and also attended Worcester State University.

Teresa was first employed by the US Postal Service as a young woman and later was employed for many years working in the hotel hospitality industry.

Teresa had resided in Milford MA and also in Grafton MA.

Teresa loved plants and gardening; she also loved animals, especially cats. She also loved cooking & baking and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

Along with her mother Rita, she is survived by her 2 children: Lauren Nealon of Douglas MA and Joseph Manzo of Milford MA; her granddaughter Ava Nealon; her 6 siblings: Kathleen Barrs and her husband Charles of Sherborn MA, Maria Lehman and her husband Randall of Palm Desert CA, Stephen Nealon of Milford MA, Anne Daoust and her husband Thomas of Uxbridge MA, Patricia Smith and her husband Daniel of Milford MA and Margaret Nealon-Cornelius and her husband Patrick Cornelius of Milford MA; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles.

Her funeral will be held Friday (June 6th) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 NOON in St. Mary of the Assumption Church (LOWER CHURCH), 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA. A visiting hour will be held Friday morning (June 6th) from 10:30am to 11:30am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, prior to her Funeral Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Mary of the Assumption Church Renovation Fund, c/o St. Mary’s Church Offices, 17 Winter Street, Milford MA 01757   or to  the MetroWest Humane Society, 30 Pond Street, Ashland MA 01721.
