Teresa Mary Zacchilli

Teresa M. Zacchilli, 92, of Milford MA, died late Friday evening (December 3, 2021) at Genesis-Milford Center after a period of declining health.

Teresa was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Pietro and the late Maria (Sartini) Zacchilli. She attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School, Class of 1947.

Upon graduation from Milford High School she was first employed at the former Public Cleaners located in Milford MA. She later was employed as a medical secretary for the late Dr. Nicholas A. Mastroianni and for the late Dr. Salvatore Compagnone. In later years she was employed by the H. Hill & Sons Food Service.

Teresa is survived by her sister-in-law: Claire (Griggs) Zacchilli; her nephews: Peter J., Nicholas, Joseph, John and Peter A. Zacchilli; her nieces: MaryEllen Kearnan and Lenora Tiexeira and their families; and her close friends: the Oliva family.

Teresa was pre-deceased by her brothers: Dewey (Mary Oliva) Zacchilli, Aldo (Josephine Oliva) Zacchilli and Rudolph “Chippy” Zacchilli; also her niece: Lisa Zacchilli.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday (December 7th) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (UPPER CHURCH), 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. A visiting hour will be held Tuesday morning (December 7th) from 8:30am to 9:30am, prior to her Funeral Mass.
