Valia P. "Penny" (Farina) Bonner

Mrs. Valia P. “Penny” (Farina) Bonner, 85, of Milford MA died Sunday (March 9, 2025) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness.

Valia was born in Bryn Mawr PA, the daughter of the late Anthony Farina and the late Valia (DiPadova) Farina. She was a graduate of Haverford Township High School. She spent her early years growing up in Ardmore PA and moved to Milford MA in 1972.

Valia had been employed as a market researcher for over thirty years, working well into her 70’s. Valia loved spending time with her beloved family members and her many friends.

Valia is survived by her 6 children: Cheryl A. Johnson and her husband Paul Johnson of Milford MA, Sharon L. D’Angelo and her husband David D’Angelo of Boston MA, Shelly R. Manz and her husband Rick Manz of Uxbridge MA, Shannon L. Digiallonardo and her husband Gino Digiallonardo of Milford MA, Shaylyn Walker and her husband Sean Walker of Milford MA and Raymond Bonner and his wife Cassandra of NH; her 14 grandchildren: Caitlyn, Bryant, Leandra, Marlee, Jaylyn, Ryan, Nate, Mikenna, Julianne, Avalina, Brandon , Jack, Camden and Taylor; her 5 great grandchildren: Maizy, Cruz, Lola, Brody and Charli; also several nieces & nephews.

Valia was the sister of the late Albert Farina and the late Louis Farina.

Her funeral will be held Thursday (March 13th) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Sacred Heart Church, 187 Hopedale Street, Hopedale MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. A visiting hour will be held Thursday morning (March 13th) from 8:30am to 9:30am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, prior to her Funeral Mass.
