Mr. William Anthony Bradley, 80, of Washington DC and formerly of Milford MA died Monday (August 14, 2023) at the Medstar Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC.
Bill was born in Milford MA, the son of the late John Bradley of Woonsocket RI and the late Esther (Fitzpatrick) Bradley of Milford MA. The second youngest of five children, he grew up in Milford and attended Dean Junior College before moving to Washington DC, with Xerox. He completed his undergraduate degree at George Washington University and married Joan Vallese, with whom he had two children, Raymond and Hope.
His career included brokering commercial and residential real estate in the D.C. metropolitan area. Bill was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus upon his retirement, as well as a Secular Franciscan and Knight of the Holy Sepulcher.
A lifelong Boston Red Sox fan, he is survived by his son Raymond and his wife Megan of Springfield, Virginia and their four children; his daughter Hope Wojciech and her husband John of Vienna, Virginia and their five children; his sister Margaret Williams of Medway MA and her daughter Lori Ann Palmer.
His funeral will be held Friday (August 25th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA.
