Mr. William L. Williams, 64, of Milford MA died unexpectedly on Saturday (August 7, 2021) at his residence.
William was born in Utica NY the son of the late Joan E.(Mills) Valenti, and attended Notre Dame parochial schools, graduating from Notre Dame Catholic High School, Class of 1975.
William was a US Navy veteran having served during the Viet Nam war.
William had been a resident of Milford MA since 1985 and had been employed as a member of the New England Carpenter’s Union and had also served as a safety instructor for the union.
William was an avid weight lifter for most of his adult life. He also kept several pet lizzards for the past 20 years and also loved to feed the many squirrels in his backyard. William was also an avid New York Yankees fan and was known to his family & friends to be a selfless person.
William is survived by his daughter: Janet Anderson and her husband Stephen of York PA; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; his 3 siblngs: Josette Lucenti of Utica NY, Richard Williams of Utica NY and Joseph Valenti of Florida; his nieces: Brianna & Alyissa and his nephews: Timothy, Matthew, Frank Jr., & Joseph all of Utica NY; he is also survived by his dear friend Doug Kehrig of Milford MA to whom the family would like to extend a special thank you for being such a wonderful friend of Billy’s for so many years and always being there for him.
William was the brother of the late Debbie Williams who died in 2018 and the son of the late Joseph Valenti, who died in 2016.
In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place. A Committal Service, with Military Honors, will be held Tuesday (August 31st) at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne MA. There are no visiting hours.
