Clifford P. "Cliff" Fitzmaurice

            Mr. Clifford P. “Cliff” Fitzmaurice, 69, of Milford MA, died Monday (January 25, 2016) at Milford Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

            Mr. Fitzmaurice was born in Milford MA, the son of the late Clifford R. and the late Constance C. (Foye) Fitzmaurice. He was a graduate of the former St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1964. He also attended Worcester Boys Trade School.

            Mr. Fitzmaurice was a lifelong resident of Milford and a self-employed wallpaper & painting contractor for over 30 years. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and hot-rod car enthusiast. He loved to travel; loved his cigars and loved spending time with his family members & friends.

            Mr. Fitzmaurice is survived by his longtime companion; Adina R. Wright of Milford MA; his

3 Sons: Clifford P. Fitzmaurice Jr. of Milford MA, Michael D. Fitzmaurice of Watertown MA and Brandon C Wright of Milford MA; also several cousins.

            Mr. Fitzmaurice was the brother of the late Rev. Dennis Fitzmaurice O.F.M., who died in 1977.

            In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place and a private graveside committal service will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA. There are no visiting hours.

            In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham MA 01701.
