Doris R. (Ceruti) Ricci

Mrs. Doris R. (Ceruti) Ricci, of Needham MA died Wednesday morning (May 27, 2015), at home peacefully after 102 vibrant years. She was the wife of the late Steven A. Ricci, who died in 1999.

            Mrs. Ricci was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Benedetto and the late Adeline (Revolti) Ceruti. She attended Milford public schools and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1930. She was also a graduate of the former Milford Hospital School of Nursing.

            Mrs. Ricci had been a resident of the Jamaica Plain section of Boston for over fifty years. She has been a resident of Needham MA since 2012. Her greatest pleasure was cooking and baking for her family and friends. She also loved reading, discussing current events and listening to opera.

            She is survived by 1 Son: William Ricci and his wife Jeri of Needham MA; 3 Step-Children: Elaine Blount of Manchester CT, Paul Ricci of Tampa FL and Robert Ricci of Bedford MA; 11 Grandchildren, including Kathryn, Lauren and Michael Ricci of Needham MA; 10 Great Grandchildren;

1 Niece: Diana Stoico of Dunnellon FL;  2 Grandnieces: Kristin DeSousa of Milford MA and Alyx Stoico of Dunnellon FL; 1 Grandnephew: David Calcagni of Palm Beach FL..

            Her funeral will be held Monday (June 1st  ) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at  10AM in the Lower Chapel of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. A visiting hour will be held Monday morning from 8:30am to  9:30am, prior to her Funeral Mass. 

            In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to VNA Care Hospice, 199 Rosewood Drive, Suite #180, Danvers MA 01923.
