Stanley Herbert Brown

Mr. Stanley H. Brown, 76, of Milford MA, died Monday evening (May 16, 2016) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Gail R. (Clements) Brown.

Mr. Brown was born in Boston MA, the son of the late Stanley W. and the late Shirley (Horn) Brown. He was a graduate of Boston Trade School, Class of 1958. He then received technical training to become a television repairman working for RCA Company; General Electric Company and finally at Sears & Roebuck Company.

Mr. Brown was an avid candlepin bowler who participated in various bowling leagues. He also was an avid NE team sports fan. He also enjoyed listening to jazz music and was an avid supporter of the Claflin Hill Symphony.

Along with his beloved wife of 54 years, he is survived by 4 Children: Robert S. Brown and his wife Deborah of Wellesley MA, Kenneth R. Brown of Myrtle Beach SC, Stephen J. Brown of Renton WS and Susan M. O’Carroll and her husband Donal of Wilmington NC; 6 Grandchildren: Amanda Brown, Caleb Brown, Duncan Brown, Samantha Brown, Matthew Brown and Allison Brown;  2 Brothers: Richard Brown of Glastonbury CT and Gerald Brown of Dorchester MA; also several nieces & nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Monday (May 23rd) at 10am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Sunday (May 22nd) from 3pm to 5pm.
