Theresa R. (Speroni) Kingsbury

Mrs. Theresa R. “Tess” (Speroni) Kingsbury, 88, of Milford MA, died Monday (August 24, 2015) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Kingsbury Sr., who died in 2012.

Mrs. Kingsbury was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Louis L. and the late Mary J. (Abretti) Speroni. She attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School and was a resident of Milford all of her life.

Mrs. Kingsbury was first employed as a young woman in the family owned business, The Spaghetti House, located in Milford MA. She later was employed for many years at the family owned Speroni’s Restaurant, located in Medway MA.

Mrs. Kingsbury was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, a member of the Italian-American Veterans Post of Milford Ladies Auxiliary and also a town meeting member.

Mrs. Kingsbury is survived by 1 Daughter: Patricia A. Kingsbury of Milford MA; 1 Brother: Frank Speroni and his wife Lucy of Milford MA; 1 Sister-in-law: Mrs. Virginia Grove of Bradenton FL; and many nieces & nephews.

Mrs.  Kingsbury was the mother of the late Richard A. Kingsbury Jr., who died in 2003.

Her funeral will be held Saturday (August 29th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in the Lower Chapel of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main Street, Milford MA. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Visiting hours will be Friday (August 28th) from 4pm to 7pm.
