Sandra (Lanzetta) Daigle

Mrs. Sandra (Lanzetta) Daigle, 63, of Mendon MA, died Saturday (May 7, 2016) at St. Camillus Health Center in Whitinsville MA after a courageous battle with MSAA for the past twelve years. She was the beloved wife of Thomas A. Daigle.

 

Sandra was born in Framingham MA, the daughter of Alfred Lanzetta of Milford MA and the late Alexandrina (Freitas) Lanzetta. She attended Milford public schools as a young girl and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1971. She was also a graduate of the former New England Educational Center in Holliston MA, Class of 1973.

 

Sandra was first employed as a young woman at the former Neilan’s Pharmacy located on Main Street in Milford. She later was employed as a bank teller at the former Home National Bank in Milford, followed by the former Bay Bank, the former Bank of Boston and then the former Fleet Bank. Lastly, she was employed at Bank North, located in their Quarry Square branch in Milford.

 

Sandra had been a longtime communicant of St. Michael’s Church in Mendon and had been active in the Warriors Club of Nipmuc Regional High School.

 

Along with her beloved husband of 39 years and her father, she is survived by her 2 Sons: Thomas A. Daigle Jr. and his wife Theresa of Cary NC and Stephen M. Daigle and his wife Tabatha of Milford MA; 4 Granddaughters: Isabella Daigle, Sadia Daigle, Harlo Daigle and Talula Daigle;              2 Grandsons: Sawyer Daigle and her next grandson due to be born in June;  2 Brothers: Alfred Lanzetta and his wife Rhonda of Shrewsbury MA and Dennis Lanzetta of West Dennis MA; also several cousins,  nieces & nephews.

 

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass on Friday (May 20th) at 10AM at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 151 Mendon Street, Upton MA.  Private Committal Services of her cremains will follow in Swan Dale Cemetery in Mendon. Visiting hours will be held Thursday (May 19th) from 5pm to 8pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. 

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Resident’s Activities Fund at St. Camillus Health Center, 447 Hill Street, Whitinsville MA 01588.
