Anne Louise (Donnelly) Marco

Mrs. Anne L. (Donnelly) Marco, 89, of Franklin MA and Hopedale MA died Sunday (September 27, 2015) at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was the beloved wife of Louis J. Marco Jr.

Mrs. Marco was born in Milford MA, the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Katherine (Callahan) Donnelly. She was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1944 and also attended Emerson College in Boston MA.

Mrs. Marco was first employed as an administrative secretary at the former Draper Corporation in Hopedale MA. She later was employed as a teacher’s aide for the Franklin public school system, working with children with special needs.

Mrs. Marco had been a resident of Franklin MA for most of her life. She had resided in Hopedale MA from 1986 to 2011, only to return to Franklin MA. She was a devoted wife who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Along with her beloved husband of 57 years, she is survived by 1 Son: Dr. Christopher L. Marco DMD, and his wife Ann Marie of Lakeville MA; 1 Daughter: Anne L., wife of Douglas Richards of Mendon MA; 5 Grandchildren: Alexander Marco, Brandon Marco, Elizabeth Marco, Ryan Richards and Matthew Richards; 1 Brother: Phillip Donnelly and his wife June of Milford MA; also several nieces & nephews.

Mrs. Marco was the sister of the late Mrs. Rita Vitalini and the late Mrs. Helen Neuding.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday (September 30th) from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Sacred Heart Church, 187 Hopedale Street, Hopedale MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Franklin MA. A visitation period will be held Wednesday (September 30th) from 9am to 10:30am, prior to her Funeral Mass.
