Papa Jeff Mama jen and sister bri and sam,
I cant imagine what is going thru any of your heads. I can't believe Chris is gone but he is not suffering anymore and neither are you guys. I was so happy when you guys held your arms open and invited me into your family and that will never change.
Meeting Chris for the first time he was instantly my brother forever. Treated me better then my own.
I am here for anything you guys need
I love you fam❤💙

Chris was my nephew,
I haven't seen Chris since he was young. As a kid, he had this skeptical look when I said something - like he was figuring things out but wasn't quite sold on the idea. He was smart. Very smart. Smart enough for me not to push things. I remember his smirk when that moment of incredulity started to form in his brain - 'I got you figured out' he was thinking, 'you're full of sh@t' he was thinking. He was right.
The Chris I remember was warm, thoughtful, quiet and intelligent. He was an artist at heart which is reinforced by everything I saw in his youth. Like most artist he struggled with the tougher inextricable questions of life. But, as an artist, he lived and moved in a thought of life which few can explain or know. In his short time here he delved deep into the conscious exploration of life which is the unknown and most intimidating frontier. The last pictures I saw of Chris harkened back to my time with him as a youth. I saw the same incredulity in his eyes. 'Death?' he said smirking, 'I got you figured out' you're full of sh@t' he was thinking.' RIP sweet boy. your cousin will be waiting to see you. Love.

I only knew Chris for a short time but I found him to be a bright, intelligent and humorous young man. He will be missed.

Jeff and Jean,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your son, he was one of my best friends and worst enemies at the same time but yet I loved him the same. Please take solice in knowing that now his demons can no longer control him. He's free.

Our deepest sympathy to Chris' family. May he be forever in our hearts and a reminder of how much people take life for granted. God bless.
