Constance "Connie" (Halloran) Smith

Mrs. Constance “Connie” (Halloran) Smith, 63, of Uxbridge MA and formerly of Mendon MA, died Tuesday (July 7, 2015) at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Daniel J. Smith.

Mrs. Smith was born in Toledo OH, the daughter of the late James and the late Clara (May) Halloran. She was a graduate of Cathedral Grammar School and Central Catholic High School, Class of 1970, in Toledo OH. She also attended the University of Toledo from 1970 to 1971.

Mrs. Smith had been a resident of Uxbridge MA since August of 2014 and prior to that had resided in Mendon MA for 21 years, Syracuse NY for 4 years, Puyallup WA for 2 years and Lake Oswego OR for 10 years. She had been employed as a bookkeeper for the Grafton Public School system for 15 years, until her illness in 2012.

Along with her beloved husband of  40  years, she is survived by her 2 Sons: Daniel M. Smith and his wife Kristy of Upton MA and Matthew J. Smith and his wife Molly of Upton MA;  5 Grandchildren: Dylan M. Smith, Ava H. Smith, Clara J. Smith, Harrison J. Smith and Anne C. Smith of Upton MA; 4 Siblings: James Halloran and his wife Audrey of Spirit Lake ID, Timothy Halloran and his wife Linda of Sylvania OH, Joel Halloran and his wife Sue of Lake Oswego OR and Mary, wife of Ron Camargo of Toledo OH; also numerous brothers & sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Connie’s passions in life were her family, riding her bike during the summer months, golfing with her lady friends, cooking, and getting down on the floor to play with her grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held Saturday (July 11, 2015) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow and a private committal service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in Upton MA. Visiting hours will be Friday (July 10th) from 5pm   to   8pm.
