Lance A. Kell

Mr. Lance A. Kell, 64, of Allentown PA and formerly of Milford MA, died Wednesday (August 17, 2016) at Beaumont Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Northbridge MA after a period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of Kathy L. (Deppen) Kell.

Mr. Kell was born in Framingham MA, the son of the late Albert H. and the late Carmella G. (Niro) Kell. He attended Milford public schools and also attended the former Mt. St. Charles School in Sharon MA. He also attended college in Worcester MA.

Mr. Kell enlisted in the US Air Force as a young man, serving as a helicopter medic from 1971 to 1975 and then later from 1980 to 1983. Following his military service he was employed as a nurse at various hospitals & clinics. He later was employed as a US postal worker.

Mr. Kell had been a resident of Pennsylvania for the past 27 years and prior to that had resided in Milford MA. He was a member of the American Legion Post #943 of New Cumberland PA.

Along with his beloved wife of 27 years, he is survived by 2 Sons: Jeffrey A. Kell and his wife Amy of Putnam CT and Jarrett V. Kell of Milford MA; 4 Grandchildren: Arianna Kell of Milford MA, Elias Kell of Milford MA, Camden Kell of Putnam CT and Brynna Kell of Putnam CT; 1 Sister: Jean Marie, wife of Thomas Farrer of Sutton MA; also several nieces & nephews, especially his great nephew: Killian James Farrer of Northbridge MA.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. Funeral Services, with Military Honors, will be held Saturday (September 3rd) at 11am at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford. Burial of his cremains will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford. A visiting hour will be held Saturday from 10am to 11am, prior to his funeral services.
