Eugenie "Jean" (Carlin) Timm

            Mrs. Eugenie C. “Jean” (Carlin) Timm, 91, of Milford MA died unexpectedly on Saturday (May 16, 2015) in Cologne, Germany while vacationing.

 

            Beloved wife of the late Edward O. Timm, Jean was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, the daughter of the late William and Edna Carlin. Jean was pre-deceased by her sisters, Mary (Don) Brogan of Fort Wayne IN and Martha (Eldon) Siebenalor of Hamilton IN.

 

            Educated in Fort Wayne, Jean was a 1941 graduate of Central Catholic High School, continuing her education at Bernau College and Indiana University.

 

            In 1947 Jean and Ed were married in Fort Wayne and began their 65 year adventure.

 

            1958 brought them to Framingham MA, when Ed founded The Timross Company, Inc. of which Jean was treasurer. While in Framingham they enjoyed many years and successes, golfing at the Framingham Country Club where Jean was President of the Woman’s Golf  Association. Jean often referred to the time spent in Framingham raising her children as the happiest years of her life.

 

            Upon retirement in 1982, Jean and Ed relocated to Vero Beach FL where they continued their avid interest in golf as members of The Vero Beach Country Club. It was in Vero Beach that Jean renewed her interest in water color painting, selling many of her paintings at private shows and local galleries. Jean was also an accomplished bridge player.

 

            In 2005 Jean and Ed relocated to Fort Wayne IN. Following Ed’s death in 2013, Jean came to live in Milford MA.

 

            Jean leaves her children, Mary Timm Gomes of Fort Wayne IN; Mike (Jeanne) Timm of Milford MA; Margaret Timm (John Zimmerman) of Fort Wayne IN; Rob (Laurie) Timm of Odenton MD.

 

            Grandchildren: Dan Zimmerman (Sara) of Anderson IN; Mike Timm Jr. of Milford MA; Allison Timm and her fiancée, Dan Mondello of South Weymouth MA; Jane Gomes and her fiancée, Ben Rivard of Champagne IL; Mary Timm-Zimmerman (Kyle Carey) of Fort Wayne IN; Mattie Timm-Zimmerman of Chicago IL; and Carlin Timm of Odenton  MD; Great Grandchildren: John Gammon Zimmerman and August William Zimmerman of Andersin IN and many nieces and nephews.

 

Visiting hours will be held Sunday (May 24th) from  4pm to 6 pm at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow and private committal services will be held in Angola IN.
